Earlier in July, organizers of the twin-sited event confirmed that The 1975 will headline instead of Lewis Capaldi, who recently announced he is taking a break from touring "for the foreseeable future" in order to "adjust to the impact" of living with Tourette syndrome. North London rapper and producer Knucks also joined the bill with a huge Main Stage slot.

The event will again head to Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park over the upcoming August bank holiday weekend.

First staged in 1961, Reading is the original of the two festivals and is the world’s oldest popular music festival still in existence. The bill always guarantees a diverse range of acts, including the finest in rock, punk, indie, metal, and more recently electronic artists and rap, from around the world.
