Starting out as 'one to watch' in the mid 00s, Calvin Harris is a singer-songwriter, record producer and DJ who has supported the likes of Faithless and penned production deals for Kylie Minogue, and has made a fair dent on the UK Singles and Albums charts too.
Described as a one-man studio, Calvin Harris was born in Dumfries, Scotland in 1984, and quickly found himself immersed in the electronic music scene from an early age, first as a fan, and then as an artist. And it didn't take long for him to move from a small time DJ to a superstar producer.
Gold-selling debut album 'I Created Disco' was released in 2007, and contained the top ten singles 'Acceptable in the 80s' and 'The Girls' - these quickly put Harris on the map, and saw him finding fans across the UK. They paved the way for two more hugrly successful records - 'Ready for the Weekend' and '18 Months'.
In 2013, Harris' success and fame was highlighted by an enviable win as the highest paid DJ in the world, amassing a fortune of $46million in the year. He hit the road alongside Tiesto - the second highest paid Dj in the world - for a blockbuster tour in the winter '13.
A festival favourite, 2015 saw Calvin Harris headlining V Festival, as well as two other massive shows over one weekend in August - Tennent's Vital and a Glasgow Summer Series show in Bellahouston Park.
Summer 2016 is already shaping up to be another lively one for Harris - he'll be headlining Wireless Festival's Friday, the Saturday of T in the Park, and performing at Creamfields, as well as at Coachella and Hangout in the US. Get your tickets via Stereoboard now!

Since Calvin Harris swaggered onto the scene with 2007’s ‘I Created Disco’, his eye-watering rise has managed to combine occasionally thrilling EDM hits with a seemingly endless supply of A-list pop stars willing to collaborate. Despite this success, he remains fairly uncelebrated in wider music criticism. ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1’ demonstrates why.
