Lady Gaga will replace Beyoncé at this year's Coachella.

Last week the vocalist, who is pregnant with twins, withdrew from the headline slot on medical advice. The news was confirmed in a statement from the festival’s organisers, who promised that she would instead top the bill next year.

The announcement that Lady Gaga, who recently headlined the half time show at the Super Bowl, would take her place was revealed with the release of an updated poster for the event.

Coachella returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on the weekends of April 14-16 and 21-23, with Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar filling the remaining headline slots.

Lady Gaga, meanwhile, will bring her Joanne world tour to the UK this autumn.

Lady Gaga Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
