The inductees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2018 have been announced.
Bon Jovi, the Cars, Dire Straits, the Moody Blues and Nina Simone made the cut, with Radiohead, Judas Priest, Rage Against the Machine and Eurythmics among the artists to miss out.
The pioneering blues guitarist Sister Rosetta Tharpe, meanwhile, will receive a posthumous award for early influence.
Artists become eligible for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first recording.
