The song is the latest to be lifted from her new album, 'Home Video', due out on June 25 through Matador. It finds the American singer-songwriter delivering her usual captivating, tongue in cheek storytelling atop a rousing indie-rock soundscape.
“In the summer of ‘07 I was sure I’d go to heaven, but I was hedging my bets at VBS,” run the track's opening lines. Watch its beautiful accompanying video below, which was directed and animated by Marin Leong.
Dacus will support the record with a North American tour this fall, to which she's added new dates in Denver, Washington and Brooklyn. Tickets are on sale now.
