M.I.A. Drops New Song Babylon

Monday, 15 November 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

M.I.A. has released a new song, Babylon.

Driven by a drum and bass-style beat and a sample of Boney M's 1978 single Rivers Of Babylon, the track follows a pair of songs released in 2020, OHMNI 202091 and CTRL, though earlier in 2021 she teamed up with Travis Scott and Young Thug on Franchise.

Babylon was released with an extended version of M.I.A.'s 2010 mixtape 'Vickileekx', which was auctioned on Friday (November 12) as a NFT (Non-fungible token) with proceeds going to the Courage Foundation

The musician’s latest studio album, 'AIM', arrived in 2016.
