Halestorm Announce Fifth Studio Album 'Back From The Dead', Share Second Single The Steeple

Halestorm have announced their fifth studio album.
The Grammy Award-winning rockers will release 'Back From The Dead' on May 6, following up 2018's 'Vicious'. It was produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who is best known for his work with Foo Fighters, Mastodon, and Alice in Chains, with added co-production by Scott Stevens. Vocalist Lzzy Hale said:
"We started writing this album about three months B.C. (Before COVID). Once we went into lockdown and were unable to perform and tour, I fell into a dark place and something of an identity crisis. This album is the story of me carving myself out of that abyss. It is a journey of navigating mental health, debauchery, survival, redemption, rediscovery, and still maintaining faith in humanity."
The news comes with a track called The Steeple, a muscular rocker featuring one of the group's trademark fist-pumping, singalong choruses. It follows the previously unveiled title track, released back in August.
The band will embark on their An Evening With... UK and Ireland Tour later in February, though they've cancelled their gigs in mainland Europe due to COVID-19 restrictions.
