Hollywood Undead Unveil City Of The Dead Video, Share New Track Trap God

Friday, 08 July 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

Hollywood Undead have shared a video for City Of The Dead, as well as a new song.

The track arrived in June along with details of their eighth studio album, 'Hotel Kalifornia', due out through BMG on August 12. The unsettling clip, meanwhile, sees the group donning some gruesome costumes to satirize the song's lyrics.

They've also shared another preview of the record, in the form of Trap God, a rap-rock tune that rolls out over aggressive bars and synth-based melodies. Vocalist and bassist Johnny 3 Tears said:

"Trap God details the band's early days pre-record label, fighting financial set-backs while growing weed in a dirty North Hollywood garage just to make ends meet."

Both cuts will feature on the full-length alongside the previously released singles Wild In These Streets and CHAOS, with most of its 14 songs spotlighting themes of homelessness and the cost of living crisis affecting the band's home state of California.

They'll join Papa Roach, Falling In Reverse, and Bad Wolves on the Rockzilla Tour around the United States this summer. Tickets are on sale.
