UB40 Release 2022 Commonwealth Games Anthem Champion Featuring Gilly G and Dapz On The Map

UB40 have released a new single.
Not only is Champion the official anthem of this year's Commonwealth Games, but it's the first single to be shared from the band's upcoming album, 'UB45', which is expected to arrive in 2023, though an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
The song features Birmingham emcees Gilly G and Dapz on the Map alongside frontman Matt Doyle, and delivers the vibrant reggae the veteran band are known for. Press play below.
UB40 are due to kick off the US leg of their Bigga Baggariddim Tour on August 18 in Knoxville, Tennessee. They'll follow that up with the UB45 Tour of the UK and Ireland in December. Tickets are on sale now.
