The Cure Announce 30th Anniversary Edition Of 'Wish' Featuring 24 Previously Unreleased Tracks

The Cure have announced a 30th anniversary edition of 'Wish'.

The 1992 album will be available in various formats on October 7, including double LP, CD, cassette, and a 3CD deluxe edition. 

The latter will feature 45 songs compiled by frontman Robert Smith, including 24 previously unreleased tracks, the original album newly remastered by Smith and Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, and unreleased demos and mixes. Check out the tracklists below.

The Cure's last studio album was 2008's '4:13 Dream', though most recently, in 2021 we saw Smith collaborate with Chvrches on How Not To Drown and in 2020 remix Teenager for Deftones. The band's keyboard and synth player Roger O'Donnell, meanwhile, appears on the track On The Run from Queen Kwong's new album 'Couples Only', released earlier this July.

The Cure will embark on a European tour this autumn, followed by a UK and Ireland arena tour in December. Tickets are on sale now.
