The Hunna Share Double A-Side Single Fugazi/Untouched Hearts

Monday, 12 September 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

The Hunna have shared a double a-side single.

Fugazi and Untouched Hearts will appear on the Watford band's upcoming self-titled album, which is due out on October 28 via Believe.

The former is an anthemic, punk-inspired track, while the latter is a rock ballad that offers a contrasting sound with emotion-fuelled lyrics that explore personal losses vocalist Ryan Potter has faced. He said:

"Fugazi is about being locked up and held down for too long until you say, 'Screw it, for one night we’re just going to go balls to the wall, have the best time ever and not care about the repercussions.'"

He added: "Untouched Hearts is a soul baring reflection on past trauma's with a new found sense of hope for the future. This song was the one that when we were writing it, it stapled what the sound of this record would be and the path the band are taking."

They'll appear on the record along with the previously unveiled Trash, which arrived earlier this summer. The trio will support the release with a headline UK tour in October and November. Support will come from special guests Kid Kapichi and Lucy Deakin.
