Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs have shared a new single, Ultimate Hammer.
Following Mr Medicine, the thunderous, fuzzy rock track serves as the second single and opener of the Newcastle band's upcoming fourth record, 'Land Of Sleeper', which is due out through Rocket Recordings on February 17. Guitarist Adam Ian Sykes said:
"Ultimate Hammer is the by-product of being trapped in the house and listening to too much ZZ Top, if there is such a thing. It was written to be unapologetic, a selfish endeavour with the only consideration being how fun it would be to play live."
The five-piece have also announced more headline shows across the UK, Europe and North America. The new UK gigs are scheduled for September and October, with European dates lined up in May, and North American concerts in March and April. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on January 27.
The new performances are in addition to their previously announced UK gigs in February, March and April. They'll also appear at this year's SXSW, which runs between March 13 and 18 in Austin, Texas.
