Paul McCartney Announces Got Back Tour Of Australia For October And November

Paul McCartney will return to Australia for his first tour there in six years.
The former Beatle turned solo artist will take his Got Back Tour to Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast between October 18 and November 4, marking his first time down under since his tour in 2017.
Tickets go on general sale at staggered times starting from 10am on August 11. In an announcement video posted to YouTube, the 81-year-old said:
"Hey, G'day Australia. Paul McCartney here, I’m coming down to see you in October with my Got Back Tour. Haven’t been back since 2017, very excited to come down and see all you Aussies.
"We’re going to have a great time, it’s going to be really special and we’re going to rock. So come on down, see you then."
His latest solo LP came in the form of 'McCartney III', released in 2020. In 2021, he collaborated with stars such as Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Damon Albarn, and Beck to cover songs for 'McCartney III Imagined'.
