Simple Minds Announce Summer Outdoor Shows In Scarborough, Margate And Cornwall

Simple Minds have scheduled three major outdoor UK shows for next summer.
The Scottish band will be joined by Del Amitri at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on June 18 and Dreamland Margate on June 20, with the latter date forming part of the Margate Summer Series. They'll also visit Cornwall, headlining Bude's Live In The Wyldes on June 22.
The shows will take place ahead of European concerts in Italy, Croatia, Spain and Portugal as part of their Global Tour 2024, which hits UK and European arenas in March and April. They also have previously confirmed Australian and New Zealand gigs lined up for earlier that year.
Tickets for their new gigs in the UK, Croatia and Portugal go on general sale at 9am GMT next Friday (December 8), while tickets for Italy go on sale at 9am GMT on Tuesday (December 5), and Spain at 12pm CET on Monday (December 4).
Tickets for their spring UK and European shows as well as their dates down under are already on sale.
The group released their most recent album, 'Direction Of The Heart', in 2022.
