Bombay Bicycle Club Announce 'Fantasies' EP, Share Lead Single Fantasneeze

Bombay Bicycle Club have announced a new four-track EP.
'Fantasies' features songs with Lucy Rose, Rae Morris, Liz Lawrence and Matilda Mann, and will arrive digitally on February 23 via Mmm… Records / AWAL. It'll also be available on limited 10" vinyl, which you can pick up at their upcoming headline shows, through the band's website or at a number of independent record stores.
As a teaser, the London four-piece have shared the EP's first single, Fantasneeze, a playful, upbeat bop that features airy vocal harmonies courtesy of Mann. The group commented:
"When we decided to hold Fantasneeze back for its own release after the album, we kept working and finished off three other songs in short order. We think of this as a Bombay and Friends release because each song has a good friend of the band singing on it (Lucy Rose, Rae Morris, Liz Lawrence, Matilda Mann).
"Some are old friends with long-term, close associations to the band (Lucy Rose for instance) while Matilda Mann is a newer collaborator (having contacted Jack to do some co-writing initially a couple years ago). It’s also very much a continuation of 'My Big Day' as it was recorded around the same time and mixed by Dave Fridmann."
The EP follows the band's sixth album, 'My Big Day', released in October 2023. They'll support the record with an extensive UK and Ireland tour, which kicks off in late January, before a North American trek throughout the spring, and a huge concert at London’s Alexandra Palace Park on July 12. Tickets are on sale now.
