Dylan John Thomas, ADMT, ShelfLives Among New Names For This Summer's Y Not? Festival

Y Not? Festival have announced more names for 2024's line-up.

New additions include Scottish rising star Dylan John Thomas (pictured), genre-bending singer-songwriter ADMT, electro-pop artist and TikToker Michael Aldag, prog-rockers Another Sky, and Canadian-British post-punk duo ShelfLives.

Also joining the bill are The Clockworks, Overpass, Ist Ist, Alfie Jukes, The Clause, Vlure, Unpeople, Mitch Santiago, Balancing Act, Girlband!, The Kairos, Dirty Blonde, Gen and the Degenerates, Alien Chicks, Stanleys, Spyres, Ruby J and Lissy Taylor. 

Over on the comedy stage, Milton Jones, known for his one-liners involving puns delivered in his deadpan and slightly neurotic style, will headline the Saturday, with Emmanuel Sonubi topping the bill on Sunday.

Across the weekend there will be appearances from Tamer Kattan, Matt Reed, Tom Wrigglesworth, Scott Bennet, Kazeem Jamal, Karen Bayley and Andre Vincent. Also, alongside Barrioke featuring Shaun Williamson, there will be a DJ set from Bez from Happy Mondays, and a performance from The Amy Winehouse Band.

Late night DJs include Sigma on the Friday night, and Shy FX on the Saturday. Jason Oakley, Managing Director at Y Not Festival, said:

"2024’s line-up just got even bigger, and we’re delighted to add more fantastic names across music and comedy - including our late-night DJs who keep the party going each night, as well as the exciting rising stars for the BBC Introducing stage. They join an already mammoth line-up that features The Kooks, Declan McKenna, The Vaccines, Holly Humberstone, Jake Bugg, The Snuts, Frank Turner (solo), Soft Play, Yard Act, Pale Waves, Katy B, Bob Vylan, Scouting For Girls, Lottery Winners, The View, The Academic, Glasvegas, Badly Drawn Boy, Black Honey, The Mysterines, NewDad, Nieve Ella, Do Nothing, Spector, 86TVS, English Teacher, The Bug Club, Bleach Lab, Beans On Toast, HotWax, Lambrini Girls, Lauran Hibberd, Ten Tonnes, and more.

Headlining the 17th edition of the Pikehall, Derbyshire festival will be Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, Jamie T and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
