Mount Kimbie Announce Fourth Studio Album 'The Sunset Violent' With New Single Fishbrain

Mount Kimbie have laid out plans for their fourth studio album.
Written in California's Yucca Valley, 'The Sunset Violent' will span nine tracks and arrive through Warp Records on April 5, following up 2017's 'Love What Survives', and 2022's 'MK 3.5: Die Cuts | City Planning', which featured James Blake and Slowthai.
Among the tracklist is the previously shared tune Dumb Guitar, as well as the London electronic group's song with long-time collaborator King Krule, Boxing, along with another track with Krule. They've also just released Fishbrain, which offers a punchy, indie-rock sound and comes with a Tegen Williams-directed video, below.
The announcement comes ahead of Mount Kimbie's world tour, which includes dates across Europe, the UK, and North America this spring. In the summer, they'll play Primavera Sound in Barcelona and We Out Here festival in Dorset, UK.
