Norah Jones Shares New Single Staring At The Wall, Extends Visions North American Tour Into Summer

Norah Jones has shared a new single, Staring At The Wall.
The minimal, laid-back affair serves as the second taster of what's to come from the nine-time Grammy Award-winner's new album, 'Visions', due out on March 8 via Blue Note Records.
The musician co-wrote the new track with producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Michels, who also contributes bass, drums and tambourine to the song. She said:
"This is one of my favorites. It was kind of a left turn from everything else on the album. It's the first time I played guitar with Leon, we were just trying to come up with something different. I got on guitar and he got on drums and it just took off. It’s just so fun to play music sometimes, and I feel like on this album there were a lot of those times. He had a really cool guitar sound going for me so it just felt good."

Jones shared details of the record, alongside its lead single Running, in January. She'll support it with a tour of the same name, which will travel across the US this spring and summer. The spring leg was previously confirmed, but the summer dates have been newly announced. Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 10am on March 1, while tickets for the spring shows are already on sale.
Support on select dates of the latter run will come from Mavis Staples, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Sasha Dobson and Martha Wainwright. Check out the poster below to find out who's opening where.
Jones will also play BottleRock Napa Valley on May 24 and Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival on June 30.
