Muse Granted Permission for Devon Homecoming Gigs |

 Muse have moved a step closer to confirming their two night homecoming concerts in Devon. Click here for Muse Tickets.
The organisers for the event in Teignmouth, SJM Concerts, were yesterday granted a licence for two gigs by the Teignbridge District Council.
The trio want to announce the two concerts on the Teignmouth Den for September 4th and September 5th to promote the release of their fifth album, 'The Resistance', which is released on September 14th. The gigs are now subject to final approval from Teignbridge District Council in its role as landowner.
The spokesman for the band added: "It is the band's intention to make some kind of donation or contribution to a locally-based charity or facility.
"We are very hopeful that this does go ahead. It will be great for the band and the area. It will bring a lot of publicity to the resort and further afield."
The Den is a large open space that runs the length of the town of Teignmouth. The promoter has been granted approval for up to 15,000 people to attend the event, but with only 10,000 tickets being on sale for each evening - it is understood that 5,000 tickets will be made available to local residents.
The licensing permissions granted include the provision for live and recorded music and additionally for the sale of alcohol. The premises would be open to ticket holders from 3pm to 11pm.
