Cliff Richard To Perform Six London Shows To Celebrate His 70th Birthday

British music icon Sir Cliff Richard has announced a series of six concerts at The Royal Albert Hall in London to celebrate his 70th birthday.

Being the only British artist to have number one hits in each of the last five decades, Cliff Richard has been a constant thread in the ever-changing weave of pop. From rock tracks like ‘Devil Woman’ to ballads like ‘Suddenly’, the singer will include such hits from his staggering 52-year career along with a selection of songs from his forthcoming album ‘Bold As Brass’.

Featuring a swing band, these new shows will follow the performer’s solo 50th Anniversary concerts in 2008 and his reunion tour with The Shadows in 2009/10.

With a maximum of four tickets per household permitted across the run of shows, don’t miss this chance to celebrate and hear a few musical highlights of a remarkable career.

Cliff Richard will play the following UK dates at London’s Royal Albert Hall:

Monday, October 11th 2010
Tuesday, October 12th 2010
Wednesday, October 13th 2010
Friday, October 15th 2010
Saturday, October 16th 2010
Sunday, October 17th 2010

Tickets are available from 9am on Sunday 7th March 2010.
