LISTEN UP: Foreign Office - Leaving The House / Voices & Video

London quartet the Foreign Office aren't here to dazzle you with optimism of the future or legislative change, but they could very well be the next big thing. A hard working, guitar-ploughing touring machine, the band are finally ready to release their debut double a-side 'Leaving The House'/'Voices' - out this week.

Packed with dry wit, Numan-esque, Eighties synth magic and razor-sharp guitar leads and observant vocal hooks, the Foreign Office come with a plain-speaking, straight talking story to tell. Coupled with an equally fine influence in Roxy Music, Talking Heads and hard 4-4 beats, you can dance as well as rock out to them perfectly well.

Foreign Office are Paul Cousins (Vox/Bass), George Hume (Guitar), Duncan Hillman (Keys/Vox) and James Woodley (Drums/Vox). Steadily gaining a reputation as one of the hardest gigging bands on the circuit, Foreign Office have announced a cluster of brand new dates. Catch them at the following venues in London over the next few weeks.

FOREIGN OFFICE LIVE:

March 29: This Is Playground Presents...(DJ Set) @ Proud Camden
March 31: Dirty Mac Club @ St Moritz, London
April 15: Stags Head, London
April 22: YoYo : Notting Hill Arts Club, London
