John Lodge Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫Last Updated: 05 Feb 2021 3:04pm
John Lodge is a musician from Birmingham, best known for being the bassist, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the longstanding rock group the Moody Blues.
Initially after a re-shuffle of original band members, Lodge was solidified in the Moody Blues line up in 1966, his distinctive falsetto vocals revising the sound of the band from that point forward. They went on to release 16 albums from the 1960s to the early 2000s. In 1985, the Moody Blues picked up the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. In May 2015 John released a solo album titled '10,000 Light Years Ago,' which reunited him with original members Ray Thomas and Mike Pinder. John Lodge, formerly of the Moody Blues, will perform solo at London's Cadogan Hall and Milton Keynes' Stable in April, along with a handful of US dates in February.
