Michael Rother is an experimental multi-instrumentalist from Germany, best known for being a founding member of the band Neu! and a shortlived member of Kraftwerk.
Along with a catalogue of several solo albums starting in 1977, Rother released five albums with drummer Klaus Dinger with Neu! between 1971 and 1996. Of his solo material, his latest album was 2004's 'Remember'. He also recorded with Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius under the name Harmonia in the 1970s.
