Very good - could have been better.

London Royal Festival Hall on August 12 2021

A large stage with musicians either side. The opening pieces were not introduced but very good. Moonlight Shadow was performed, unsure if it was Sally on vocals.
After a break the performance of Tubular Bells started. The dancers/acrobats from Circa added some graceful moves which at times distracted from the music.
The caveman vocals in the second part were not as good as on the original recording.
The piece ended with the horn pipe as an encore with the audience clapping along.
Tubular Bells is a beautiful work and was professionally performed by very accomplished musicians. I feel it may have been better to let the musicians have the stage space and perhaps be introduced.
