Originally starting as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers, for whom she would become head choreographer, she would eventually be discovered by the Jacksons, who got her to choreograph dances and videos for them.
Eventually working with stars like Diana Ross and for numerous film works, Paula Abdul would start performing as a singer in her own right, and put out her debut album, 'Forever Your Girl', in 1988. She went on to put out two more 'Spellbound' and 'Head Over Heels' - in the '90s too. Abdul is still working hard in the industry today, and alongside ventures like working as a judge/guest on shows like American Idol, and The X Factor, she puts out singles every now and then, and continues to perform.
