Týr are a folk metal band from Tórshavn, Faroe Islands.
With most of their material focused around Viking folklore and mythology, the band released their debut album 'How Far to Asgaard' in 2002. They have since gone on to put out a further seven studio records including, most recently, 'Hel' in 2019. Týr have announced The Tour From Hell for March 2022, which will hit a handful of English venues along with speical guests Elliot Vernon and The Flame.
