Whitesnake is a British rock band, founded in 1978 by David Coverdale after leaving previous band, Deep Purple. The band's earliest material was compared by critics to that of Deep Purple, though by the mid 1980’s they had moved to a more conventional hard rock style. The band’s self-titled 1987 album was their most successful worldwide, and contained three of their most famous songs. Whitesnake later went on to be crowned the 85th greatest hard rock band of all time by VH1 in 2005.

After the band’s 2011 tour, they have spent much of 2012 in the studio recording and editing live mixes from their previous tour, as well as making a seperate in-concert DVD from their “Forevermore” world tour and expanded editions of “Into The Light” and “Restless Heart”. Whitesnake have since spent the last year preparing themselves for another announced tour kicking off in May 2013 with Journey. Check below for tickets.
