Clint Mansell is a British musician, composer and former lead singer of the band Pop Will Eat Itself.
Pop Will Eat Itself ended in 1996, and Mansell began scoring films when director Darren Aronofsky asked him to score his debut film Pi. He went on to score Aronofsky’s next film, Requiem For A Dream. Lux Aeterna, became really popular, appearing on advertisements. He has also done the scores for films like The Wrestler, Black Swan and Smokin’ Aces and The Fountain, which was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score in 2006. Mansell announced a set of An Evening With...shows next spring and will be joined by special guests for performances of music from Requiem For A Dream, The Fountain, Noah, PI, Moon and more.
