One of America’s most important Punk Rock bands is returning to the UK for the first time in over a year. After headline slots on the lock up stage at the Leeds and Reading festivals in 2009 and tours across the world, Chicago’s Rise Against have just announced a very special album launch show at London’s Electric Ballroom on Wednesday 16th March for their new album 'Endgame' due out the same week.
A band with a clear political conscience, Rise Against have sold over 2 million records and their last album Appeal To Reason charted at #3 in the US and sold almost a million worldwide. Rise Against are planning to top that with 'Endgame'. The lyrics of the album touch on real world events, such as Hurricane Katrina and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
