Eliza Doolittle - Mr Medicine (Single Review)

It seems like forever since the first single from pop singer Eliza Doolittle hit our ears so I was a little bit surprised to find out that this track, 'Mr. Medicine', is still from the same album, her self-titled debut.

I’m trying to find negative things to say about the track but it’s difficult to even think about being negative about someone who sounds so happy and content while singing. It’s very difficult to listen to this track without having a smile on your face and thinking you were slap bang in the middle of summer with a pint in your hand, soaking up the sun. It’s slightly ironic that the song has a line about calling in sick.

A very happy track from what is obviously a happy person. Not a brilliant song, just a nice happy summery tune. Highly recommended. Even if I’m not 100% sure exactly what it is she’s singing about.
