LostAlone Announce Release Date Of New Single 'Love Will Eat You Alive'

Derbyshire rock trio LostAlone have announced that they’ll be releasing their brand new single ‘Love Will Eat You Alive’ on April 1st – and have now been playlisted on Radio One too.

The track is the second single from their new album ‘I’m a UFO in This City’, which went to #7 in the indie charts last week, and will be released at the start of next month via Graphite Records, along with exclusive non album track ‘A Ritualistic Mirage of the Mind’. An ‘ET’ (yes, that ET!) version of the single will also be available on the iTunes version only.

Speaking of the track, singer Steven Battelle said “’Love Will Eat You Alive’ comes directly from what I like to call ‘self dream plagiarism’ which involves me effectively stealing songs from my unconscious self. This can be as simple as waking up and remembering a snapshot of music or in the case of this song, I attended and watched an imaginary band performing the entire song then simply woke up and demoed it intact.’

30 Seconds to Mars, Enter Shikari, Paramore and My Chemical Romance have all specifically requested LostAlone as their support band on arena tours across the UK and Europe. The band have also played numerous high-profile festival appearances including Taste of Chaos, Give it a Name, Download, Rock am Ring, Rock Im Park, T in the Park, Oxegen, Reading and Leeds. They were nominated for ‘Best British newcomer’ at the Kerrang! Awards and listed in Bruce Dickson’s ‘Top 5 singles’ for BBC 6 Music – and now their new single has been playlisted by Radio One.
