Geordie star Cheryl Cole has promised Girls Aloud fans that an announcement regarding their highly-anticipated anniversary reunion will be coming their way 'very soon'.
Speculation and rumours of when and how the girls will reunite have been rife throughout the past months, with Cole recently telling fans to 'watch out' for their impending comeback. Now, Cole has confirmed to Capital FM that the girls have been planning away – and promised an announcement would be coming soon.
“We had lots of conversations and we drank lots of cups of tea and we all said we want to do something for our tenth birthday,” Cheryl told Capital FM. She went on to say that an announcement would come “very soon”, but refused to spill the beans on what the reunion would feature.
Cole recently talked about the group's split, and said: “What happened was it had been seven years, consistently non-stop touring, album after album, and just as women we needed that space to grow as people. It's been almost three years, I believe, so watch out!”
