Amy Macdonald Unveils Music Video For New Single 'Slow It Down' - Watch Now

Amy MacDonald, one of Europe’s biggest selling singer songwriters, returns this Summer with a brand new album ‘Life In A Beautiful Light’. The first single ‘Slow It Down’ goes to radio tomorrow across Europe and looks set to take her straight back to the top of the European charts.

‘Life In A Beautiful Light’ was recorded between ‘State of the Ark’ Studios in Richmond and Mayfield Studio in Surrey. Produced by long term collaborator and manager, Pete Wilkinson and mixed by the legendary Bob Clearmountain, ‘Life In A Beautiful Light’ is set for release on June 11th.

Through good old-fashioned gigging, word-of-mouth enthusiasm and constant, overwhelming radio play Amy Macdonald went from being an unknown teenage Scottish singer-songwriter to international star. Now aged 24, Amy Macdonald can’t wait to tour the world with ‘Life In A Beautiful Light’.

Amy Macdonald has sold over 4million albums worldwide and has played to over half a million fans over the last few years. Her debut album 'This Is The Life' charted at Number One in 5 countries and her second 'A Curious Thing' hit the Top Ten in 10 countries across Europe.

Her debut album was a phenomenal success across Europe and received the following Awards: 5x Platinum in Switzerland, 4xPlatinum in Germany, 3xPlatinum in France and Netherlands, 2xPlatinum in Belgium and UK, Platinum in Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Poland, Spain and Sweden and Gold in Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Norway and Russia. 'This Is The Life' is one of the Top Twenty best selling albums of all time in the UK by a UK female solo artist and was one of the Top 10 best selling albums in Europe in 2008.
