Ed Sheeran Denies Reports That He Is To Enter Rehab

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has rubbished claims that he cancelled US tour dates because he needs to go to rehab, following the news that he pulled out because of personal reasons.

The star joined Snow Patrol as a warm-up act on their current US tour, dates which have been some of Sheeran's first across the pond. But, he's been forced to cut the trip short because of 'personal reasons' – something which the press seems to think is actually a stint in rehab. But, Sheeran, who has a relatively clean-cut image, has denied the claims – and jokingly added that he may need to check in after his up-and-coming trip to Legoland.

Posting through his official Twitter account, Sheeran wrote: “Apparently media are running a story tomorrow about how im coming home early to enter rehab, im missing 4 days of a tour to see my family... But yeah, no rehab just yet, but i am going to legoland in a few weeks, so might need it after that.”

Fans of the star will still be able to catch him performing on the Conan O'Brien show later tonight, while he'll be performing in the UK throughout the summer. For tickets to any of his shows, check the dates and details below.
