Swedish Housa Mafia: 'Next Tour Will Be Our Last'

House-producing superstars Swedish House Mafia have revealed that their next tour, which features a gig at the Milton Keynes Bowl and a number of yet-to-be-announced shows, will be their last.
The sensational announcement was made through the group’s official website earlier today and comes just four years after the trio – consisting of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello – officially formed.
The message reads: “Today we want to share with you that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.”
Because of the wording of the statement, it’s unclear whether the group will simply stop touring together or whether they’ll completely split up, though many seem to believe the latter. The news comes just days after drum and bass outfit Pendulum announced their split.
While the announcement is a nightmare for some (‘Swedish House Mafia’ is trending on Twitter; the site is flooded with messages from upset fans), it also means that their remaining tour dates will be absolutely wild parties, and will probably spark a frenzy for tickets.
Swedish House Mafia’s tour diary will see them playing at the Milton Keynes Bowl (probably their last ever UK show), Ushuaia in Ibiza, and at the Friends Arena in Sweden, while the message on their website promises that a ‘final leg’ of their journey will be announced soon.
