Superstar girl-group the Spice Girls have announced that they’ll perform together for the first time since 2008 later this summer, after they were added to the line-up of London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
The announcement follows their recent reunion at a recent launch party for the ‘Viva Forever’ musical, at which the girls did not perform. Fans were ecstatic to see the girls together once again - and that was without any actual performance, so the news of a Spice Girls concert will send fans crazy - so expect to see a lot of furious tweeting and tour rumours flying about in the coming weeks!
'Viva Forever' is rumoured to be in the West End's Piccadilly Theatre later this year, around December. The girls have already voiced their feelings about the reunion and the musical, with Mel B posting via Twitter: "Whoop whoop where my spice biatches at!!! Lovin ALL spice fans always!" Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell wrote: "Look back, realise how far you've come".
