Cat Power To Perform One-Off Show At London's Roundhouse & Tickets

Eccentric singer-songwriter Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall, has confirmed a one-off performance at London's Roundhouse for December. Cat Power Tickets are on sale now.
 Cat Power unveiled her new album 'Sun' earlier this year and to support the release she is hitting the road for a full European tour, stopping for a one-off headline gig at the Roundhouse on 12th December. You can also catch Cat at gigs in Amsterdam, Koln, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Milan, Bologna, Zurich, Paris and Brussels. The London show will mark her first UK performance in over four years.
'Sun' is the anticipated follow-up to her 2008 covers album 'Jukebox' and was recorded by Chan at many locations including in her self-built Malibu studio.
Talking about the new record, Chan revealed to The Stool Pigeon that reason behind the long break break between her 'Jukebox' album was a result of a break-up. I entered a long relationship which I really wanted to be successful. You know that thing we're all raised to want: a beautiful life with children – that family thing that is tangible?. I was trying to grow my personal life in a way that I never did before. So now that relationship is over and it's come full circle... There's a great loss personally in my life right now, but there's also a gift in that I'm lucky I finished this album."
