Manchester rocker/patron saint Noel Gallagher has claimed that he will never reform Oasis - not even if it would save all of the world’s starving children.
Noel is doing extraordinarily well since splitting from his brother Liam and the rest of the band, with his eponymous debut record hitting #1 and his global tours often selling out. His brother, on the other hand, isn’t seeing the same level of success, and fans of Oasis want nothing more than the two to reconcile and get back together. Unfortunately, it seems that there’s more chance of pigs flying!
Liam has claimed that the super-selling group would be reforming in 2015, but Noel has other ideas - and responded by telling NME: “He shouldn't have fucking tried to sue me should he?”
He then continued: “Not even if all the starving children in the world depended on it. I know it's the done thing these days and what people do, but it's not what I do. I know bands reform and 'they're bigger than they ever were' and 'they're more successful than they ever were', but Oasis were one of the biggest bands in the world.”
“At any given time, we were one of the five biggest bands in the world. We were the biggest thing to come out of England in 35 years. Why would we do it? For the fans? Nobody ever gave a shit about the fans in that band. It's done.”
