Sylencer's New Album Available For Streaming

Sylencer are a propitious unsigned Chicago-based metal project founded by musician Markus Johansson and Johnny Rox, including permanent addition Kevin Talley, seasoned drummer for Daath, Six Feet Under. The self-funded debut album “A Lethal Dose of Truth” features guest performances from cultivated artists such as Dream Theater’s Jordan Rudess, Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano and Dethklok’s Brendon Small alongside a dozen others.

The album was released in the U.S by Sylencer’s independent label, Sylencer Records, after six long years in the making and some of hard rock and metal’s most gifted musicians to lend their talents to their recordings. “People always ask how we managed to work with so many amazing artists on one album, let alone out first album. Sometimes we would get lucky and bump into someone in a recording studio, or at the Rainbow on Sunset Boulevard. Other times it was a seemingly wild game of Six Degrees Of Separation. In the end, we managed to make all of this happen by relentlessly pursuing our dream, and by allowing it the time to develop into something ultimately beyond our wildest dreams."

The inconceivable list of musical talent that helped produce “A Lethal Dose of Truth” is a true testament of Markus Johansson remarkable musical talent and brainchild, Sylencer.
