Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham Teases New Tour And Album

Fleetwood Mac star Lindsey Buckingham has spoken of the hugely-anticipated new Fleetwood Mac reunion tour and album, which Stevie Nicks confirmed earlier this year.

Buckingham is the lead guitarist and main male vocalist of the world-famous outfit, and has confirmed that the band will start rehearsing in February for their brand new April and May tour. He’s also revealed that they’ve been working on some new tracks - and just need Nicks’ blessing for some recordings to go ahead.

"[In] the last eight or nine years, I've had a lot of growth. I sort of caught up on the need to explore the more esoteric side of the palette,” Buckingham told Rolling Stone. “Fleetwood Mac is gonna start rehearsing probably the beginning of February and I'm actually looking forward to it,” “I miss those guys.”

He continued on to talk about a possible album, saying: “Absolutely, absolutely I would [record a new album]. In fact, about six, seven months ago, John [McVie] and Mick [Fleetwood] were over here and we actually cut some tracks, and we did enough for maybe half an album. But you gotta get Stevie [Nicks] on board with that, and at the time, she was really quite caught up in what she was doing . . . but I would love to do that because John and Mick were playing their asses off.”

Nothing official has been confirmed as of yet but some more news is expected in the near future - so stay with Stereoboard to stay up-to-date.
