Megadeth are a thrash metal outfit hailing from Los Angeles, California, that are a part of the iconic ‘Big Four’ of thrash metal - alongside Slayer, Metallica, and Anthrax.

They formed back in 1983 after frontman Dave Mustaine was fired from their soon-to-be rivals Metallica, and quickly found notoriety for their aggressive and technical thrash tracks.

After numerous demos, the band put out their debut album, ‘Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!’, in 1985, paving the way for a major label signing and 13 successful studio albums - their 1992 effort ‘Countdown to Extinction’ hit #5 in the UK and #2 in the US.

30 years after their formation, and 50million record sales later, the band returned with ‘Super Collider’, and of course, tours across the world. If you missed out, Megadeth returned with another new record, 'Dystopia', in 2015, alongside a co-headline UK and Ireland run alongside Lamb of God.
