Starting her music career in 1978, playing in various punk bands, she rose to prominence in the 1980s as a member of Yazoo. The band had several hits and recorded two albums, ‘Upstairs at Eric's’ and ‘You and Me Both’, before disbanding in 1983. Launching her solo career the following year, she has earned a Grammy nomination and three BRIT Awards, and has put out 10 albums to date, with the latest arriving in the shape of 2024's 'Key'. Alison Moyet will support her new album with an extensive tour of the UK, Europe and North America in spring 2025, ahead of dates in Australia and New Zealand in May/June.
