Superstar singer Adele has stated that she will only ever try to lose weight if it affects her health or sex life, hitting back at critics who comment on her size.
Adele’s weight has been digged at a handful of times in her illustrious career, with fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld describing her as ‘a little too fat’ back in February - a comment which saw him damned in the press.
Now, she’s given her own views on critics of her weight - telling The Sun: “I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me – ‘Test pilot for pies’ – but I’ve always been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn’t.”
Whatever her weight, Adele’s music is world-class and she’s being hounded for a new album following her recording of the new James Bond theme for ‘Skyfall’. An Adele spokesperson said of a potential new album: “The next Adele album may not come for some years, and it’s impossible to predict its likely sales. We therefore regard this year’s figures as exceptional.”
