American rockers The Killers have revealed that they’ll be rescheduling their Manchester gigs - which were cancelled last night after frontman Brandon Flowers’ ‘voice went’ - to take place in 2013.
The Las Vegas outfit’s UK tour was one of the most highly-anticipated of the year, and with their fourth album ‘Battle Born’ hitting #1 in the UK Albums chart, it was set to be one of the best, too.
But, just four songs into the first of two dates in Manchester, the band walked off stage - with a spokesperson later telling the crowd that the gig would not continue because Flowers had a sore throat.
After posting on Facebook saying that they were ‘so, so sorry’ for the cancellation, the band stated that they would be rescheduling the concert - as well as a second Manchester gig which was set to take place tonight. We now know that Mancunian fans will be forced to wait until at least next year to get their Killers fix.
The remainder of The Killers’ UK tour seems to have remained untouched, after doubt was cast over rest of the dates - particularly Friday’s gig in London. If you need tickets for any of the The Killers UK tour dates, check below - and keep your eyes peeled for any more updates on their tour.
