The Killers Cancel Manchester Arena Shows After Brandon Flowers' 'Voice Goes'

The remainder of The Killers’ UK tour has been left in doubt this evening - after frontman Brandon Flowers walked off stage four songs into their gig in Manchester, claiming his voice ‘had gone’. Tomorrow's show has also been cancelled.
The Las Vegas rockers’ UK tour was one of the most highly-anticipated tours of the year, and with their fourth album ‘Battle Born’ hitting #1 in the UK Albums chart, it was set to be one of the best, too.
But, just four songs into the first of two dates in Manchester, the band walked off stage - with a spokesperson later telling the crowd that the gig would not continue because Flowers had a sore throat.
The band have since released a statement via Facebook, saying that they will be rescheduling both of their Mancunian dates - but the future of the rest of the tour (London in particular) is still unclear, with some doubting that they’ll go ahead.
Twitter is crawling with both disappointed and sympathetic fans, with one writing:
Brandon Flowers and The Killers walk off stage in Manchester after only 20 minutes. Sore throat apparently. Definitely not a soldier then.
