The Killers' Brandon Flowers Plots North American, UK And Ireland Shows In Support Of 'THRASHER'

The Killers’ Brandon Flowers has scheduled tour dates across North America, the UK and Ireland for this autumn. 

Hot on the heels of announcing 'THRASHER', his third solo album and first in over a decade, the singer-songwriter has confirmed shows across the US and Canada running from September 1 to October 6, including stops in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Denver, Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Toronto and a homecoming date at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.

He'll then return to the UK and Ireland for performances in Bournemouth, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester, York, Glasgow, Birmingham and Dublin, alongside a special show at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 15, which will mark Flowers' first full performance at the iconic venue since The Killers’ landmark 2009 shows, which were recorded and later released as the band's live album and DVD 'Live From The Royal Albert Hall'.

The new shows will see Flowers perform songs from 'THRASHER' for the first time, as well as material from his other two solo records, 2015's 'The Desired Effect' and 2010's 'Flamingo', alongside select songs from The Killers’ catalogue.

Tickets for the North Ameican dates go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (June 26), while the UK and Ireland shows go on general sale at 10am on July 3.

Announced earlier this week, 'THRASHER' was recorded at the legendary RCA Studio A in Nashville alongside producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, and finds Flowers returning to his country and Americana influences. It's set for release through Island Records on August 21, with the first single Plans arriving tomorrow (June 26). Head here for more details.
