Beabadoobee has announced her fourth album, which she'll support with her first arena tour later this year.
The follow-up to 2024's 'This Is How Tomorrow Moves' is titled 'Pylon' and will arrive on September 18 via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records. Featuring 14 songs, it'll include collaborations with Paramore's Hayley Williams, Turnstile singer Brendan Yates, Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones' Chino Moreno, Title Fight's Shane Mora, and The 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel, who contribute to production on Write Me a Letter.
Alongside the news, the singer-songwriter has shared the cathartic Sun Has Set, a guitar-driven indie-rock track that comes with a video directed by her partner and longtime visual collaborator Jake Erland. She said:
"A lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone. This song has this petty tunnel vision — it’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that."
Beabadoobee will support 'Pylon' with her first run of headline arena dates, billed as the Powerlines Tour, which kicks off with shows across North America throughout October. She'll then travel to the UK for performances at Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Cardiff's Utilita Arena, Manchester's AO Arena and London's O2 Arena between November 14 and 18, followed by European dates in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin and Düsseldorf.
The dates will follow her previously scheduled appearances at Hinterland Music Festival in Saint Charles, Iowa and Lollapalooza in Chicago next month, as well as shows in Chicago, Indianapolis and Morrison, Colorado, where she'll perform at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on August 7.
Tickets for her new Powerlines Tour dates go on general sale at 10am local time on July 2. Her summer shows are on sale now.
Beabadoobee returned in March with the single All I Did Was Dream Of You featuring The Marias, but it won't appear on the new album.
