Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have put out a new single.
My Echo will appear on the Australian band's forthcoming third album, 'Endless Rooms', due out on May 6 via Sub Pop.
The hooky, upbeat guitar-pop earworm marks the third advance single from the record, following The Way It Shatters and Tidal River. Singer and guitarist Fran Keaney said:
"My Echo is about being surrounded by phone screens, computer screens, tv screens, paranoia and loss of time and place. The album recording is pretty faithful to the very first rough recording. Most of Tom’s leads were improvised but they became the DNA of the song."
Head below to watch the accompanying video, which shows a staged performance of the band playing the song, along with some giant papier-mâché heads.
They'll support the LP with rescheduled UK and Europe dates in the summer. Following that, they'll hit the road for their first North American tour since 2019, which wraps up in Los Angeles at the Teragram Ballroom on August 23.
