Hot Chip Share Three Remixes Of Recent Single Down, Announce Instore Shows

Hot Chip have shared three remixes of their recent single, Down.
The five-piece debuted Down back in April, alongside details of their upcoming album, 'Freakout/Release', due out on August 19.
The three new versions of the song come from Sworn Virgins; who have put a dancefloor-ready spin on the track, Nyra; who adds a synth-pop touch, and Selector Dub Narcotic aka Calvin Johnson; who offers a slowed, distorted revamp. Spin below.
The group — Owen Clarke, Al Doyle, Joe Goddard, Felix Martin (not pictured) and Alexis Taylor — have also announced a short run of UK instore shows for August, ahead of their four dates at London's O2 Academy Brixton as part of their European tour.
They'll play Banquet Records at Pryzm in Kingston on August 18, Resident at Chalk in Brighton the following day, and Rough Trade East in London on August 23.
They also play Beat Herder in Clitheroe, Junction 1 Summer Series in Glasgow, and Wide Skies And Butterflies in Norfolk this summer. Tickets for all of their dates are on sale now.
