Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Announce Fourth LP 'Land Of Sleeper', Share New Song Mr Medicine

Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs have announced their fourth studio album.
'Land Of Sleeper' will arrive on February 17 via Rocket Recordings, following up 2020's 'Viscerals'. As a preview, the Newcastle-based band have shared the track Mr Medicine, a raw, powerful, fuzzed-up offering that draws influence from the primal rock sound of The Stooges. Vocalist Matt Baty said:
"Music is a powerful medicine and it should be consumed daily for mental wellbeing. Mr Medicine's faithful and highly regarded colleague is Doctor Gig, who we also have on speed dial. Lyrically I suppose the sentiment is not too dissimilar to Sister Sledge Lost In Music, only galvanized by heavy, heavy doses of distortion and really big drum fills."
Recorded and mixed at Blank Studios in Newcastle, and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London alongside Christian Wright, the record was first teased in October with the fiery live performance video of the cut Terror’s Pillow.
The quintet recently announced shows for next spring. They'll also feature at the 2023 edition of SXSW, which runs between March 13 and 18 in Austin, Texas.
